According to Osho, Gurdjieff and Ouspensky spoke of seven kinds of man: 1) body-centered, 2) emotion-centered, 3) intellect-centered; these three are mixed and mechanical. 4) the integrated seeker who can consciously use body, heart, and head separately. 5) higher emotional man, 6) higher intellectual man, and 7) the fully realized being with a permanent I—total, conscious, and reliable.
We start ruled by body, feelings, or thoughts, and can grow into a balanced, then fully conscious, human being.
