Is faith the natural outcome of knowledge, or is it essential to have faith before knowledge is attained?

Faith is the seed that opens the path to knowing, and when true understanding blossoms, you become the essence of faith itself.

— Osho
According to Osho, faith has two faces: as a beginning it is an orientation (shraddhavan) that opens the path to knowing, and as an end it is the ripened fruit (shraddha) that arises when all doubt and curiosity cease. Start with the attitude of trust to move, practice the method, and ultimately, when knowing flowers, faith is no longer a quality—you are faith itself.

Begin by trusting enough to take the first steps; when you truly know, all doubts drop and trust becomes your whole being.
