According to Osho, dying in a longing for resolution is not samadhi. Longing reveals lack of understanding; it is borrowed consolation, dependent on another and therefore impermanent. Samadhi flowers when desire and the seeker fall silent in total understanding—when meaning dawns within, tested in life, and awareness stands on its own, effortless and enduring.
If you die still wanting peace, that’s not enlightenment; enlightenment is when wanting stops because real understanding is already yours.
