According to Osho, accomplished true masters are exceedingly rare; thus Buddha, though visiting many teachers, did not find one. He tested each by practicing exactly what they prescribed, and his unwavering doing exposed pretenders. Osho says the only sure recognition of a true master is inner change through practice; without doing, deception persists.
Buddha didn’t meet a real master because they’re very rare, so he tried each teacher’s methods and saw who was false by noticing no change inside.
