Why has self-realization not occurred despite the belief that it has already been attained?

Question

Accepted Answer

According to Osho, self-realization hasn’t occurred because you only believe it intellectually, borrowed from scriptures, while the subtle desire to attain still operates. Greed for effortless achievement keeps meditation shallow and turns 'it has already happened' into a concept. Realization becomes evident only when all craving to get it drops and recognition arises from your own direct, spontaneous wisdom.
