Why do some talks carry the smell of politics?

According to Osho, talks only smell of politics because that odor already lives in the listener. We hear what our conditioning craves and project our inner assumptions onto words. He sometimes mentions politics deliberately to reveal where attachment and prejudice hide. The invitation is to drop projections, trust the process, and return to meditation and awareness rather than reactive interpretation.
