According to Osho, politicians are often criticized because power-hardened minds become like stubborn donkeys: they won't move toward truth or service unless first jolted awake. Criticism—sometimes sharp or shocking—is not hatred but a device to get their attention, puncture complacency, and open a space for awareness and responsibility. Without that initial shock, nothing changes.
Like shouting to wake a deep sleeper, sharp words toward politicians try to wake them (and us) to do better.
