According to Osho, Narad’s intense thirst, misdirected outward, made him continually miss Krishna: everywhere he arrived he was told Krishna had “just moved on,” because Krishna isn’t outside but an inner state. Thirst magnified a mirage, so his faith drove a futile chase. Only turning within ends the deprivation.
