According to Osho, there is, in truth, no necessity for enlightened souls to descend “out of compassion.” Existence lacks nothing that must be corrected; compassion is a spontaneous fragrance, not an obligation. If a sage appears among us, it is not to fulfill a cosmic requirement but as effortless play—presence sharing itself—yet even that is unnecessary from the ultimate standpoint.
There’s no rule that wise beings must come help; if they do, it’s natural kindness, not a duty.
