What is the condition of meeting the Imperishable?

To meet the Imperishable, the I–You wall must dissolve, allowing your heart to mirror another's pain as your own; in that egoless empathy, compassion flows and the eternal reveals itself.

— Osho
According to Osho, the condition for meeting the Imperishable (avinashi) is not borrowed sympathy but egoless empathy: when the I–You wall dissolves and another’s pain is literally felt as your own. In that non-separation, compassion is spontaneous, the heart becomes a mirror to all, and the imperishable reality reveals itself.

When you stop feeling separate and your heart opens so wide that others’ pain is your pain, you touch the deathless truth.
