According to Osho, earning more so you can give more keeps you trapped in the same greed for 'more.' Accumulation breeds clutching; then giving becomes an investment—merit, praise, or heaven—not freedom. Charity, at best, is penitence for hoarding, not a positive virtue. Real giving happens only when the fever of 'more' subsides and you return what was needless, with no calculation, reward, or identity attached.
If you chase earning more to donate more, you’re still stuck wanting more; true giving starts when you stop the “more” game and share without expecting anything.
