According to Osho, after the state of great emptiness (mahanirvana), the last obstruction—the body—falls away; with it, all coming-and-going, becoming, and even compassion-driven activity cease. What remains is the supreme, invisible void: ultimate nirvana beyond mind and body. Until then, as with Buddha, life continues out of compassion; for Krishna, nirvana and mahanirvana are one.
When the greatest emptiness arrives, even the body drops and there’s nothing left to do—only complete, silent peace.
