According to Osho, authentic transmission requires two circles: an inner esoteric group trained specifically to receive a master’s inexpressible realization and serve as mediators, and an outer circle of ordinary followers/the world. The inner group translates and safeguards the teaching; without it, seekers misinterpret, the message distorts, and the world may turn hostile—as with Jesus—whereas with such a group, understanding spreads, as with Buddha.
A few well-trained helpers learn a wise person’s deep truth and explain it clearly so people don’t misunderstand or harm the teacher.
