According to Osho, glimpses of witnessing and joy will continue only in short bursts until you correct the first mistake: hoarding bliss and damming love. When love flows as unconditional goodwill and you lavish your joy on all, meditation deepens; thought-free intervals lengthen. Finally, love and meditation become one, and abiding, oceanic silence and bliss remain.
It stays brief until you open your heart and share your happiness with everyone; then it grows longer and finally becomes your natural state.
