How is prayer not non-dualistic if it is a state of consciousness and gratefulness?

Prayer as a ritual creates a separation between you and God, but true prayerfulness is a state of being where every act becomes an expression of gratitude, dissolving the illusion of duality.

— Osho
According to Osho, prayer as a ritual act is dualistic—you, the doer, address a distant God—whereas prayerfulness is a non-dual state of consciousness: continuous gratitude, meditativeness, and reverence flowing through every act. In prayerfulness there is no separate moment of praying; life itself is prayer—God selling and buying, walking and weaving—so separation dissolves.

Don’t do a special prayer; live so lovingly and aware that everything you do becomes prayer, with no ‘me’ and ‘God’ apart.
