According to Osho, prayer begins only when the “I” disappears; therefore it can never be for oneself. Any self-centered prayer turns false and poisonous. True prayer blossoms as compassion for the whole—sharing whatever joy arises with everyone, without exceptions. Bliss grows by giving and dies by hoarding; in selfless sharing, separation melts, and you find no distance between your heart and the divine.
Prayer isn’t asking for your own wishes, but forgetting yourself and letting your happiness and goodwill flow to everyone.
