According to Osho, when prayer brings only tears, don’t stop them—tears are the deepest prayer. Words are from the mind; tears rise from the heart, uniquely yours, and purify, bathe and open you. Drop rituals and second‑hand prayers; flow with the weeping. These tears hold both ache and joy—the Beloved’s call. Let longing ripen; from this cleansing your own song, dance, and union will come.
If you sit to pray and can only cry, let yourself cry—those tears are your real prayer and they will cleanse and guide you.
