Does a master's responsibility towards disciples cease upon physical death?

A Master’s love is not a duty but a response; liberation cannot be outsourced, and your freedom is always respected.

— Osho
According to Osho, a Master has no ‘responsibility’ as a duty—either in life or after death. He is responsible only as loving responsiveness: if you seek, ask, and are ready, help flows; if you cling to ignorance, your freedom is respected. Liberation cannot be outsourced; no Master redeems you by contract. Their availability remains for the receptive, but obligation never existed.

A master doesn’t promise to save you—alive or dead; he helps when you truly ask, but you must do the changing.
