According to Osho, being “caught” in the master’s net is a liberating love-entanglement if you totally let go; bondage exists only where the ego resists. What truly “dies” is the fearful, self-protective ego. Surrender wholly and remain inwardly free—even in the guru’s embrace—and the seeming prison turns to nectar: the more you yield, the more genuine freedom and transformation unfold.
If you stop fighting and let your scared ego drop in love with a true master, you won’t be trapped—you’ll be free.
