Are all words useless?

Words serve as tools for the outer world, but in the inner journey towards the divine, silence is the true language. Use words wisely in life, but let them fall away in meditation.

— Osho
According to Osho, not all words are useless. Words are precise, powerful tools for the outer worldcommunication, work, science, buying and selling. But for the inner journey, words are a burden and noise; silence is the true medium. Use language outwardly; drop it inwardly. Meditate wordlessly when moving toward God, and avoid confusing contexts—choose words carefully in life, but relinquish them in meditation.

Words help you deal with people and things, but to know your inner self or God, be quiet and let go of words.
