According to Osho, the 'cosmic circle' is the whole, an indivisible continuum where energy moves from center (consciousness) to circumference (matter) and back. Atoms belong to the circumference—the most crystallized, peripheral expression of the same life-force. Material existence is only the outer ring of this circle; its significance is to point you back to the silent center where separation dissolves and mystery becomes living experience.
Everything from atoms to stars is one circle: matter is the outer edge, your awareness is the center.

Osho, according to a very recent theory in astronomic physics, every atom which exists in the body or which builds up all material things around us comes out of a cosmic circle through which it must go at least twice. However, this fact doesn't help me to feel part of the cosmos. Osho, as a scientist, do I ever stand a chance of experiencing mystery?
Walter Hultzsch, science is a demystification of existence, hence it is absolutely impossible to feel any sense of the mysterious through science; the very method of science prohibits it. It is just like somebody who is blind trying to see through the ears, or somebody who is deaf trying to listen to music through the eyes: the very method becomes the barrier. They say, "Nothing can be destroyed." This means that we cannot remove anything from its isness. If we wish to destroy a piece of coal, we can turn it into ash, but that ash will exist. We can even throw the ash into the sea; it will blend into the water and will no longer be visible, but whatever its form now, it will still exist. We can destroy its forms, but we cannot destroy its isness.
