What is alimony?

Alimony is merely an empty label; when you know yourself, the constructs of society lose their grip, revealing the essence of compassion and freedom.

— Osho
According to Osho, alimony is nothing—an empty label in the marketplace of relationships. From the vista of awareness, money, contracts, and post-marital bargains don’t touch your being. See through the word, drop attachment and resentment, and rest in presence. When you know yourself, such social constructs lose their grip, and compassion and freedom arise.

He’s saying alimony is basically nothing to your real self—just a money word people fight over, not what you are.
