According to Osho, the ordinary person without faith does not newly go astray—he is already lost. Socially approved beliefs only mask this lostness, giving a false sense of safety. When faith wavers, it merely exposes our actual condition, creating the possibility of awareness and a truer search, rather than further consoling illusions.
Worrying about losing faith is like fearing a kid will get lost without a toy map—he’s already lost; seeing that truth is the first step to finding the way.
