According to Osho, Kabir’s ‘cloak’ is the body—the garment of consciousness. Saying he leaves it ‘intact’ means he lived and used the body with impeccable awareness, harming neither himself nor others, and now discards it as he found it. The ‘swan’ is the pure soul departing alone, flying home to its source beyond the mundane world.
He treated his body like clothes, kept them clean, and when it was time to die, he took them off gently and went home alone.
