According to Osho, Sufis offer many techniques not because love needs methods, but because most seekers’ hearts aren’t yet functioning. Camels (and larvae) trust only methods; techniques break their walls and prepare the heart. For lions, a single path—love or awareness—is enough; for the child, none is needed. Methods are compassionate bridges to love’s methodless state.
They use methods to open closed hearts; once you’re ready, one method—or simple being—is enough.
