Does it arise first in the mind or in the intelligence?

Authenticity arises not from the mind, which is merely a repository of the past, but from the clarity of intelligence, where true awareness blooms.

— Osho
According to Osho, nothing truly new begins in the mind; the mind is a storehouse of the past. What is authentic arises first in intelligence—your present awareness—and only later is translated by the mind into thoughts and words. If it starts in mind, it’s borrowed; if it blooms in intelligence, it’s original. Meditation shifts you from mind’s noise to intelligence’s clarity.

First the inner light switches on (awareness), then your head finds the words; if it starts in your head, it’s just old stuff.
