According to Osho, ordinarily you never see people or things as they are; the mind, loaded with past, beliefs, desires and fears, filters and projects its own meanings. Only in meditation—putting the mind aside and looking nonjudgmentally, like a mirror—does perception become choiceless awareness. When the 'you' disappears, reality reveals itself directly, without interpretation.
