According to Osho, every day is such an occasion: once enlightened, the master has nothing left to attain and can drop the body at any moment; only disciples’ love keeps him lingering in a suffering, aging shell so they may ripen. Protecting him means sustaining him with love, care, and presence, honoring his sacrifice until the disciples flower.
The master could leave life anytime; your love helps him stay so you can grow.
