Why should man live with a purpose if everything in nature is purposeless?

Live with intention as a tool to remove the thorns of purpose, but ultimately return to the effortless bloom of your own being.

— Osho
According to Osho, existence itself has no external purpose; like a flower, life fulfills itself by simply blooming. But because man has become unnatural and entangled in goals, a temporary 'purpose' is needed—to drop all purposes. Use intention like a thorn to pull out thorns; then discard even that tool, returning to effortless naturalness and spontaneous being.

Since we’re stuck chasing goals, use one last goal—to stop chasing—and then live like a flower, simply being yourself.
