According to Osho, it’s difficult to be in let-go because society conditions us into workaholism, exploiting our basic needs to keep us as productive machines. This drains time, sensitivity, and space for art or meditation—real doorways to surrender. A relaxed, non-utilitarian being threatens the exploitative order, so fear, scarcity, and moralism are imposed to block inner ease.
We’re pushed to work and worry so much that we forget how to relax and trust life.
