Why am I still not happy?

Happiness is not something to be chased; it arises effortlessly when the seeker dissolves into the present moment. Let go of the ego, become the dance, and joy will quietly follow.

— Osho
According to Osho, you’re unhappy because you’re still ‘someone’ chasing happiness. Happiness can’t be pursued; it arises on its own when the seeker (ego) disappears in total absorption with what you’re doing. Like a shadow, it follows when you stop looking. Drop self-conscious planning, forget happiness, become the dance, the song, the walk—when ‘you’ dissolve, joy quietly appears.

Stop trying to catch happiness; get lost in what you’re doing, and when the ‘me’ goes quiet, happiness shows up by itself.
