According to Osho, you can’t reach it by doing—every effort fattens a subtler ego. Don’t try to drop ego; awaken. Sit silently and look within; search for the ‘I’ and discover it isn’t there. In pure awareness it dissolves. If non-doing is hard, pray wordlessly in heartfelt surrender: ‘You gave this, now take it back.’
Stop trying to fix the ego; be quietly aware and look for it—when you truly look, it isn’t there; if still difficult, simply surrender in silent, heartfelt prayer.
