According to Osho, the song and celebration vanished from sannyas in this country when we replaced living communion with a master by rote recitation and doctrine. Mistaking Krishna’s words for his presence, we clung to scriptures; the lock of the heart rusted, and sannyas became dry, ascetic imitation. Only heart-to-heart silence with a living source rekindles the dance.
