What are the precise methods for coming back in the body?

To awaken the body, reverse the current of energy with intention and a gentle touch, guiding the spirit back to its home.

— Osho
According to Osho, to bring someone back into the body after magnetic passes or deep relaxation, you simply reverse the current: move your vibrating hands four inches from the body from feet toward the head, intending the energy to return and alertness to arise. Add a clear verbal cue—'Wake up'—or a light touch near the head/eyes to complete grounding.

Move your hands from the feet back to the head and say “wake up” so their energy returns and they feel present.

What are the precise methods for coming back in the body? Please explain.

This is the reason why men have created so many statues, films, paintings of women in the nude, but women have as yet taken no interest in nude men. Neither do they keep photographs of nude men, nor do they paint nude men or hang calendars of nude men in their homes -- they have absolutely no interest in seeing a nude man. Women have never shown any interest in nude men, but man's interest in nude women is very deep. A nude woman may well become instrumental in man's transformation, but a nude man would only cause a woman to close her eyes -- nothing more. So a similar technique is meaningless for women. A woman's transformation happens differently. It is important to keep in mind that a woman is the passive sex -- she is not aggressive, she is receptive. No woman can be aggressive. She never even…

Osho, please shed some light on this clear method of returning.

There are a few things to understand here as well. Ordinarily we have no idea that every touch of ours is a magnetic touch. When we touch someone filled with love, the one who is touched senses the difference. When we touch filled with hatred, that too is sensed. When we touch with indifference, even that is felt. In all three states our magnetic element flows in different currents. And if, with the whole mind and a firm resolve, one concentrates entirely in the hands, the magnetic currents become very intense—what Mesmer called magnetic passes. If we lay a person down naked, do not touch the body, and hold both our hands above the head at a distance of about four inches, keeping that gap, and then, while vibrating the hands strongly, move them the same four inches above the body down to the feet, and do this for fifteen…
And Now And Here · Discourse 1Para 99 1969-10-28 Meditation Camp at Dwarka, Gurujat, India English
Once it happened: a man was paralyzed for two years and was bedridden. He could not get up; he could not move. The physicians gave up, declaring the paralysis would remain with him for the rest of his life. Then one night his house caught fire and everyone ran out. After coming out, they realized the head of their family was trapped inside he could not even run; what would happen to him? Some people had brought torches with them, and they found that the old man was already out. They asked him if he had walked out of the house. The man said, "How could I have walked? How did it happen?" But he certainly had walked; there was no question. The house was on fire; everybody was leaving it and for a moment he forgot his paralysis; he put his entire energy back into the body.

Keep looking within... keep looking within... let everything outside become dead. Let it go... utterly dead... remain just watching... remain only the witness... drop everything... as if you have died... as if everything outside has died—the body too... thoughts too... only an inner flame remains, watching. Only the seer remains, only the witness remains. Let go... let go... let go completely... (Silence… solitude… hush…) Whatever happens, let it happen... let go completely... keep only looking within and let go completely... drop every grip... (Silence… solitude… hush…) The mind has become quiet and empty... the mind has become utterly empty... the mind has become quiet and empty... the mind has become utterly empty... the mind has become utterly empty... If there is even a slight holding, drop that too... let go completely... dissolve... as if you are not. The mind has become empty... the mind quiet and empty... the mind has…
SECOND STAGE Now we have to enter the second stage. Continue deep breathing, and let go of the body. Leave the body to do what it wishes to do. Let go of it. Let it take whatever asanas or postures it wants to take; let it form whatever mudras or gestures it likes. Leave it free to move and shake and whirl as it likes. If it wants to weep let it. Let go of the body completely. Continue deep breathing and let go of the body. Let the body fall down if it wants to fall down. And let it rise again if it wants to rise. And if it wants to dance allow it wholly. Let go of the body absolutely. Let it do whatever it wants to do. Leave it free. Don't impede it even in the least. Cooperate with the body. If it spins, let it.
