According to Osho, the master–disciple bond is both accidental and chosen: accidental for the disciple, who is still unconscious, and a fully conscious choice for the master. 'When the disciple is ready, the master appears.' The master waits knowingly; the disciple’s long wanderings ripen awareness until recognition happens, fulfilling a promise beyond time.
It’s both: the wise teacher chooses you on purpose, but you meet them by ‘accident’ when you’ve finally grown enough to see.
