How do I recognize my own joy despite others' judgments?

According to Osho, recognize your joy by your own lived feeling, not by the world’s verdict. If an experience gives you authentic delight, stop consulting the ‘court of opinion’—drop the worry and be total in it. Don’t do it half‑heartedly or for approval; immerse yourself completely. Your inner aliveness is the measure, and wholeheartedness is the way.

If something truly makes you feel alive inside, ignore others’ judgments and enjoy it fully.
