The host of the places are the Sayalays, female novice monks / samaneri as nuns are not allowed under their tradition. Yasati has multi days program / retreat, and decent dormitories are provided with aircon and hot shower. The main meditation practice is mahashi method, contemplating the rise and fall of the abdomen from breathing. This practice combines samatha and vipassana in one meditation. Sounds efficient but actually difficult to do. Practitioners will have one on one session with Sayadaw for advice."
