"The whole store has a really nice Kyoto theme, which makes it feel different from other Pokémon Centers. It’s not just a normal shop, the design and vibe make it special. They have a huge selection of merchandise, from plushies to cards and exclusive Kyoto items. Some of the products are really unique, so if you’re a fan or collector, you’ll definitely enjoy browsing. I spent quite some time just looking around because there’s so much to see."

"This was a brilliant shop for Pokemon gifts and merch. I'd rate it highly in that regard, all on its own. But I wanted to take a minute to leave a positive review for the staff there, in particular. They were serving us so professionally, politely, and with such a welcoming manner, even though there were absolutely tons of customers in there; while also having kept the shop really tidy and orderly. Very professional!"

"Loved this Pokemon Center in Kyoto, had great stock levels and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all (definitely quieter than the Osaka DX store and this is a bigger shop). Worth visiting as they had slightly different items compared to the Osaka DX store. Note they don't offer tax free here so would suggest stocking up in Osaka branch and get exclusive items in Kyoto"

"As a millennial that has grown up with Pokemon for her entire life - this store was amazing! They had stuffed animals, home goods, travel gear, and more. It is very popular, but we visited during an off-peak time, and we didn't feel crowded. The souvenirs are pricey, but as a lifelong fan you need to yourself something - especially a Kimono Pikachu keychain 😊"

"Visited the Kyoto Pokémon centre. Feels a little overrated but if you're into pokemon, still worthwhile checking out. The store was busy but the only thing I found interesting is the large models on display. Pokémon cards are behind thr counter, you have to ask for them if you want to buy some. Very limited to what is available in the market."
