"Thank you! I got so much out of this course, it's been a really positive and empowering start to the new year. I've been practising my new skills and am now meditating for 10 minutes or more every morning and feeling the benefit of the exercises. I've loved the variety of teachings, the music is so calming and mantra are new to me and I've found them so powerful. Who knew meditation covered such a wide canvas of pathways. I'm so grateful for the free program, the tutors seem happy to give their time freely. Amazing! Ailsa Barker"

"Hi, I was a student or Desciple of this organisation in Australia for up to four years and have been to this centre before in perhaps 2012. I must start of to say, I liked the world weary centre leader, who jokingly referd to me as a yogi from Brisbane. They are a very austere spiritual path, basically teaching the Hindu religion, no knew ideas or concepts. They believe there Guruto be some kind of God on earth or Avatar. Most affaires of the centres are built around meditation and trying to give relevance to their Guru Sri Chimnoy, and organising runing events to fund the centre and are not really known for any significant local charity work, except for free meditation classes in the community, that seem an exercise to also obtain new desciples to keep the whole gizmo running, They are proude of a global event called the peace run, which also seems an exercise to bring relevance to the long passed Guru Sri chinmoy and raises no money for any causes. They do have a world wide humanitarian charity, that had shown at times some presence on the street, but seemed to be considered a bit of an oddity by the general public, I was told. I followed this path in Brisbane and Canberra mainly and only visited the New Zealand centre.... You could speculate that maybe the majority of ex members In various centres have had memories of control and and sometimes exploytation. I found Sri Chimnoy's path not necessarily the Auckland centre, but in general often to be a duality, to immerse yourself in meditation and self transcendence, but in my opinion it was also perceived by some as a self serving controling Cult!"

"This was a great course. Durba was a wonderful instructor, and I left feeling a lot more confident about meditation and how it can help me in my life."

"I love meditations here at the Sri Chinmoy Centre. Group meditations are always so much easier than meditating on your own. And I love coming to the public meditation classes. I meet some very inspiring seekers."
