According to Osho, while his message is for everyone, not everyone is ready. He argues the world divides more meaningfully into a North–South cultural evolution: the South, including much of Africa, remains centered in magic and lacks the philosophical-scientific background he assumes. Hence a vast historical gap makes it difficult to understand him, so few Africans come.
He says many Africans haven’t come because, in his view, they’re at a different historical stage and not yet prepared to grasp his teachings.
