Is it possible for a dead man to be revived?

Revival is a dance with life, not a return from death; true death is the final curtain, while the apparent dead may simply be in a deep embrace with existence.

— Osho
According to Osho, revival is possible only in a very different sense: if someone merely appears dead—due to deep trance, coma, or suspended life functions—they can return; but once the body is truly dead, revival is impossible. Many so-called resurrections are misunderstandings of near-death or meditative states where vital signs are undetectable.

You can only ‘wake’ someone who looks dead but isn’t; if the body has truly stopped, no one can bring them back.
