According to Osho, yes: the true womb is the living Master. In the Master’s presence you surrender the ego, die to the old self, and are reborn into awareness. The mother’s womb brings you into the world; the Master’s womb carries you beyond it—cross and resurrection—so you rediscover your original, liberated being. The Master is a mother.
A real Master is like a second womb where you drop your old self and are born again into freedom, not just comfort.

Of course. A Master is nothing but a womb: through him you are reborn. You die in him; you die with him. The Master is the cross and the resurrection. Dhanya, that is the way to hear me. It is for the first time you have heard me. It is for the first time communion has happened and not only communication. Communication is through words, communion is through music. Communication is an intellectual process; communion is that of the heart, when two hearts meet and mingle and melt. Dhanya, your name means "the blessed one". You are... you are blessed. This is the way to be with me. This is adab the way to be with a Master -- heart to heart, silence to silence, spirit to spirit. When my words start disappearing and you start hearing the gaps between the words, when you start hearing the gaps between the lines, you will be full of great music. That is my real message.
Try the experiment. Let the room be dark. Come into the state as if you have again become a small child and entered the womb. Breath will gradually slow. In that posture, breath cannot be fast—belly and chest are compressed, head bowed. The breath will slow. Support it. Let it slow. There will come a moment when it will seem to stop—“Is it moving or not?”—because the child in the womb does not breathe. When it feels as if breath is moving or not moving—you cannot tell—then know you have entered the womb-state. Sometimes, for a moment, breath will stop. In that instant, you will have a glimpse of the primal root. As these glimpses begin, you will become a different person. Seek the origin; seek the point you come from. Because where you come from is your final destination—there is no other way.
Not with reverence, not in welcome—rather in denunciation—Western psychology has begun to accept that the search for Nirvana is a search for the womb. And in the Western conception, to go back is impossible anyway, therefore such a search is wrong, dangerous, an obstacle to human development. But I hold that soon they will begin to understand. As Euclid’s geometry fades and non-Euclidean geometry enters, as the old linear notions fall away, this notion too will fall away. The womb will be known as the final place. And one who cannot reach the womb-state again dies incomplete. Therefore we say he will have to be born again and again—because the experience of the womb did not become complete; the incomplete remains stuck. The incomplete causes wandering.
