"Beautiful Gardens great for meditation, though it's so beautiful you might want to meditate with your eyes OPEN! Walking meditations recommended, friendly docents on property."

"We love to come here whenever we visit South Cali. It is very nice and calm when not crowded. People are respectful and the garden is simply gorgeous. Try to catch a Sunset ✨💓"

"This garden is a nice little place to stop off the beaten path. There’s a steady flow of people walking through so it’s busy. Some people find a way to meditate here but I don’t think I could. It is nice to find a spot to sit and watch the sunset though I enjoyed that."

"Such a bliss compared to busy, slow and frustrating freeway so close to it. A lovely stop everyone should experience on the way to San Diego or LA. Great meditation spot and lovely gardens with mesmerizing ocean views"

"Paramahansa Yogananda has fully electrified Encinitas with the powerful transmission of his life, lived and loved here! How incredibly fortunate to have his seaside Hermitage, temple and living Dharmic activity alive and thriving here! His disciples and devotees are carrying on his work and legacy beautifully, you will feel the friendly warmth and sincerity in the spiritual atmosphere, and wisdom teachings. You can walk the gorgeous gardens and sit by the ancient koi fish, and feel very far away, like a small Eden. They also have numerous activity throughout the week, and of course wonderful Sunday services. For those wondering, the main essence of the teachings are to learn how to directly connect and plug into God consciousness through spiritually scientific practices, using the divine faculties of your brain, spine and breath. The current to connect is love!"
