"This place is one of Cape Town’s most kept secrets. A real hidden paradise. The moment you step into this place your nervous system thanks you and you exhale. The staff, the nature , the sauna , the cold plunge, the facilities and offerings are out of this world. Don’t think twice about booking to stay here. You will thank me later!"

"Phakalane is truly a hidden gem, a tranquil and beautiful space that invites you to simply slow down and relax. Surrounded by nature, it's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of my favorite spots was the deck beside the pond. It's serene, and ideal for soaking up some sun with a book or enjoying a peaceful session of early morning yoga. The entire atmosphere encourages stillness and presence. The huts are quaint yet cosy and the breakfast spread was great, and freshly prepared. Whether you're looking to unwind, reconnect, or just breathe a little deeper, Phakalane is a beautiful space to do just that."

"Phakalane has so much to offer. A truly unique space that caters to all your physical and spiritual needs. A perfect combination of nature and modern luxury; beautifully decorated with luxurious space to explore with all your senses. The staff are incredible, friendly and so accommodating. My experience at Phakalane was absolutely unforgettable and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a journey into self exploration and divinity. A-hore!"

"I ddnt like the cottage , it is self catering but it does not have basic needs in the kitchen, you have to go to the main kitchen to use the kitchen , they refused to allow us to make a braai hence we saw all the braaing areas has been used before us . the breakfast is not as shown in their pictures, it’s just boiled eggs , bread and jam. I will they can put more efforts on breakfast. The WiFi is not working at the cottages . We had a bad experience with my partner . What makes me more sad is they ddnt put the vottage in the website. You will be surprised when you get there . The kitchen is clean though"

"Stayed in the Water Hut for 2 nights and it was magnificent. I left feeling well rested and rejuvenated. The luxurious hut was equipped with a small fireplace and a lot of personal touches that gave it a personality. The open air bathroom was amazing, with a huge bath to relax in. I spent the 2 days in solitude, enrobed by the beautiful forest-like surroundings. Note that this is a retreat space and not a hotel so please read up on the place on their website. I will most definitely return."
