"Very very bad experience. Had the 3 days meditation course over there. Meditation - it was all the time same breathing meditation and they didn’t talk and learn any any of new things I got take with me. Yoga - there was only 1 class a day and it was very very unproffesional. There was no flow and I would call it amateur stretching insted of yoga. Dharama talks - mostly the so-called guru talks for so long and very very very full of himself. All the place is about this guru which just say we are western people and have very bad way to say his way of thinking. I felt I had to share my real emotions and let the truth out."

"One of the best place for yoga retreat courses. Had a great experience, beautiful scenic view, very calm and peaceful place.they have a cafeteria and a souvenir shop where all the essential items are sold. Many nice inspirational books by different authors are also found here"

"When I got off the plane in Leh, first I took a cab into town. Then I had some tea while sporting that semi-delirious look that someone who does not live at 10,000 feet has after getting off the plane. Then I got a cab to the Mahabodhi retreat center. I hadn't realized that Leh proper and the retreat center were in different directions, and so I saw a good length of road twice that day. Suffice it to say that upon arriving at the retreat center I began a six-night / seven-day practice that I won't forget ever. It began with a lot of sleep and more tea, and for a day or two that's all you are going to be good for unless you have gotten used to the altitude somewhere else. The daily regimen became more rigorous as I could handle more, and near the end I was scrambling around the nearby slopes with strong lungs and a clear mind. A great contrast to the prior part of my trip, which was for work in a major city (but also lovely and meaningful in other ways). I am permanently grateful for this experience. If you are looking to dip your toe into something that to my western mindset felt like a powerful and authentic Tibetan Buddhist practice, then this is a great place to do it. Namaste."

"I had a wonderful 3 days retreat here. Very helpful and kind staff. Transforming experience. P.S.: please fix your mail adress, people can not join you and they think there are no retreats going on."

"I attended a 3 day meditation retreat here and can recommend this place. The course is meant for beginners but can be challenging if you have never meditated before. The price is 5000 INR for 3 days, transport from leh, stay and healthy food all included. If you are thinking of not just seeing external things while in ladakh id recommend you go. The meditation is mostly breathing meditation broken up by walking meditation and a short yoga session at the end of the day that is very basic. Beautiful place to spend 3 days away from all the bustle of leh with flower gardens, orchards and young monks and nunns."
