"I had taken Ayahuasca for the first time six months prior to this, in Peru. Both retreats were incredibly special in their own ways. To explain the difference between the two experiences I tell my friends and family that at Camino al Sol it is all about the heart. The beautiful family that run this retreat have their hearts wide open and share this energy effortlessly with all of the people attending. And love is infectious: the other participants and I became so close, like a family. I was so happy to share the experience with them. I felt safe and held at all times; during the three ceremonies and the time in-between. We were given beautiful massages and plant baths, delicious food, and time to share our intentions and hear the Taita speak before each ceremony. No need was overlooked, I felt deeply cared for the entire time. The shared rooms were comfortable and quiet. We only spent time in them during the day to catch up on our sleep as the nights were spent together in the medicine house, this lasted until sunrise. It felt so comforting to sleep there with everyone at the end of each ceremony. I would recommend this retreat, the peaceful location and knowledgeable and heart-led Taitas and staff to anyone looking for an authentic Ayahuasca experience. Thank you Camino al Sol!"

"My experience at Camino al Sol was absolutely life-changing. I had been searching for the right retreat to experience sacred medicine, Yage, for years and this place was everything I hoped for and more.
