"I joined a one-day meditation retreat at Bodhidhammayan and it was such a peaceful and meaningful experience. The place is calm and surrounded by nature, and the teachers are gentle, kind, and very mindful in their guidance. A beautiful space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. If you’re looking for a place to rest your mind and open your heart in Phuket, this retreat is truly a hidden gem.🌿"

"I recommend it with all my heart. Such a wonderful place to begin a journey into mindfulness meditation. It’s perfect for beginners cause you have not only meditation for 8 hours in a row, but you also take part in activities like drawing and walking meditation. The volunteers are so kind, offering information and guidance with care and attention. I truly believe our world would become kinder and happier if more people try a practice like this. Thank you!"

"Unfortunatelly, the retreat was not the best experience, as a lot of technical problems occured, cd's broken, resulting in half of the teachings missing and us waiting for an hour each night. The english is not at a very high level there, meaning you often get very plain and dry explanaitions for fundamental teachings, the same goes when it comes to translating the monks teachings. Thai students recieved a much fuller experience. It is practice based! So do not expect a lot of teachings - 8 hours a day it's pure practice. I came into it expecting noble silence, as it was said in the description, but you had to talk to the volunteers nevertheless, also there were russian participants who kept talking throughout the course without any comments from the staff, which was quite distracting at times. Beware of huge spiders in the bathrooms, and all kinds of nature beings in beds and all around the place - it truly is in nature. I also do not recommend it for anyone who has experience with buddhism or meditation, as the course was very entry-level. Unless you want to deepen your practice, not your knowledge. Then its a great quiet place in nature to focus and do some mind training. The staff was friendly, there were all needed facilities and good food, much needed breaks between sessions. In conclusion - i am sure there are people who would enjoy this experience, but i think its more tailored to thai-speaking people."

"I had a wonderful experience during the 1-day meditation retreat. The staff were incredibly accommodating and mindful of my needs, especially since I have knee issues that make it difficult to sit cross-legged for long periods. They kindly provided a chair, which made the practice much more comfortable. I left feeling refreshed and deeply grateful. I would definitely return and highly recommend this meditation center to others."

"A nice place with kind and attentive people. I’ve been there several times for Sunday meditation and place is very accommodative and peaceful. The only thing I would recommend to have one more vegetarian option for food, like vegetables or salad, because it’s difficult for vegetarians when there is no food except rice to eat at lunch. Thank you very much for your efforts, I really appreciate it and planning to come back!"
