"A little sanctuary for the soul. It operates on a donation based system, which includes simple yet nourishing breakfast and lunch, along with a program of yoga, meditation, chanting, fire purification, kirtan/bhajan, etc. It is rare to fina a place that offers such a complete experience with such a selfless approach. The schedule starts early at 6am. It might feel a bit tiring at first, but you quickly feel your body and mind being purified. The daily flow is well-paced and never feels rushed. I left feeling completely refreshed and already want to go back. I hope this lovely ashram continues to be supported by many so it can keep sharing its beautiful energy."

"An authentic spiritual centre open to all with an intention to share space and teachings to those seeking authentic reconnection to the "self", "the nameless"...... whatever term you choose to call it but, you know what I speak of... Donation based centre with intention purely focused on the wellbeing of all things. Not profit focused. A safe and quiet place allowing space to sit with all the personhood, conditioning, belief systems created. The teachings, wisdoms and practices shared by the devotees of the ashram gave me the tools to help me discern and let go of things that no longer served me with compassion and love. Any questions I had were welcomed and answered with compassion and authenticity. Thank you to the humans who ensure the continuation of this space. In these times of capitalisation and monetisation of services sometimes the purest intentions get lost in the desire for money and profit..... I thank all those involved with this ashram from my heart to yours.... I honestly highly recommend this experience for those who wish to open their hearts and uncover an inner, deeper understanding of who you are."

"I write here the same message to which I have never received a reply since September 15. good morning I don't know if the person who will read this message is the same one who welcomed me two days ago when I came to visit you. first of all, upon my arrival there was no smile, no welcome welcome in a sacred place, and then at my request if I could have a blanket to cover my shoulders (unfortunately I had forgotten a long shirt) I was told by this lady who no, had nothing to give me and that if I couldn't cover my shoulders I had to leave -. at a later time I asked if while waiting for the mantra songs I could visit the entrance and was prevented. I was patient again because I had been waiting a long time to visit the center and I wanted to see what it was like. the time has come to recite the mantras and when I was waiting for the same volunteer who welcomed me and who sang the mantras for more information - she told me (even before speaking) "the door is open" . this meant I had to leave and that's what I was doing but then I thought and thought it wasn't right to leave like this. I am studying to become a yoga teacher and this is not a good attitude that no one should have . where is the compassion and welcome towards others? there was nothing that is recited there is no point in knowing how to recite a mantra by heart if the values that are taught do not apply in daily life. I was really sad and very disappointed with this center"

"Great stay at Anand Ashram. Either you are new or a seasoned truth seeker, Anand Ashram has a place for you. The daily little meditation and yoga program keeps you engaged, but not overly exertion. A little discipline is helpful though it is not required for you to attend the programs, but that is useful. Food is rather simple, do not expect too much. But you will get fed. Guru Anand Krishna is very humble and speaks of the truth. Any questions will be answered. Would definitely recommend and love to stay again."

"Relaxing and beautiful stay at this ashram. The programme is gentle to follow and not too strict, yet we must respect their rules. Better contact them 1st before booking to know what to expect. Some of the programme are: chanting, meditation, yoga and talk with the guru. One of the evening program is movie night, it happened during my last night, I love it. Staff are very kind and always helpful especially when you have questions about the teachings. The food is delicious vegetarian. The bookstore has great options of good books too. I stayed for 4 nights and wished could stay longer."
