According to Osho, existence as we ordinarily live it is dreams upon dreams—maya—whose truth cannot be borrowed; it must be known directly. Secondhand belief, even in a Buddha, breeds inner division and hypocrisy. Only meditation and firsthand seeing reveal the dreamlike nature of life; with real knowing, transformation happens and the illusion loses its grip—information echoes, awareness liberates.
