According to Osho, one of the key differences is that the unenlightened derive existence from thought—belief, logic, and proof—while the enlightened know their being directly in thoughtless awareness. When thinking ceases, amness remains, self-evident and objectless. Thus it’s not belief but experiential presence: I am, therefore thoughts may arise—meditation reveals this center, whereas identification with thinking keeps consciousness distracted and fragmented.
